Brit Floyd

Pink Floyd Tribute Band

I never heard of Brit Floyd until last year after we bought tickets for Shine On Floyd. I returned home minutes ago from the Which You Were Here 2025 Concert celebrating 50 years of Pink Floyd as a tribute band from the UK called Brit Floyd. I am guessing the Toyota Findlay was about 80% sold out with a few empty seats on side baloneys. Max capacity is 6,200 so do the math.

They used Stub Hub Ticketmaster where you can not screen shot or paper print the tickets, but must bring your phone as a ticket. Normally I'd leave my phone at home. But since I had it I took pictures and videos totaling 70 files. So aren't you the lucky ones? Brit Floyd not only allows phone photos and videos but encourages it.

A super nice round video screen (From the 1994 Division Bell Tour) with laser lights and original Floyd video and some updated videos too. It was a pleasure to see Biden and Trump in the Brain Damage video, Kudos, Roger and David would be proud. The lighting was very cool, and right on sync with the music.

Sorry for the bad phone audio. Their audio was mixed to perfection. Too many bands today just yell over the Music. This was not the case, you could understand all the words and it was Fun Loud. The second half of the show seemed on the verge of painfully load, but I can see why as they ramped up the performance.
I missed one members introduction, here are 8 of the 9 members

The lights are very cool, I especially like the Dark Prism side logo

Staying with the original concept album blending from DSOTM Time was no different as they blend into the intro with nice original graphics of the clock guts.

Some of the original Have A Cigar video
showing Old oscilloscopes never die!

Another cool effects was the Guitar backlighting that cast a shadow on the back wall. Look at the 2-3 o'clock position from the center of the guitar neck, and notice a dark line.

Look closely at the Dancing Pig Unicorn lower left of screen below and notice the Running light patterns in vertical like foot steps (time 1:52) what great detail, yes we noticed and felt the effects!

During the 20 minute intermission they advertise the equipment they use. I am always happy to see what's under the hood.

The box on the table was the smoke generator that helped see the laser light rays

The guy next to me has a friend that turned down being a guitar player in the Turtles band. Small world huh? and He friend stopped by and said too much lights you can't see the band. Well in the Spirit of Pink Floyd they are the mysterious member show create a fun show. The entertainment level was very high with much creativity behind it and a great attention to details. Sure they could have people with camera projecting on a large screen but that's not Floyd like. They stayed true to form, and I appreciate that.
